Witness appeal made after till stolen from Andover dry cleaners

We are appealing for information after a till was stolen from a shop in Andover town centre.

The incident took place at around 12.45pm on Monday 24 August, at Ben’s Quality Dry Cleaners in Union Street.

It was reported that the till was taken when a staff member was temporarily at the back of the store.

Officers attended and shortly afterwards, the till was found in an underpass at the Vigo Road roundabout. Around £150 had been taken from the till.

Staff at the store did not see the offender.

Officers have been speaking to neighbouring stores and are carrying out further enquiries, including CCTV.

While those initial enquiries take place, we would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have information that will help our investigation.
